It was my birthday on August 28. The summer doesn't end until my birthday, at least for me. There is still time to hang out easily with people, especially outside! It is still August. And it is time for me to make plans for the coming year. Even though I don't go to school anymore, it still feels like my year begins now.
I can make plans but I know that I might not be able to do everything I want. I was looking through papers and found my plan for 2019-2020. I only got a couple of things done. Maybe I will move some of those things to this year. Or maybe I will make an entirely new list.
This image is from the top of a Starbucks cup. Life is full of surprises. We can plan for everything and still be surprised. I would like to know how many of us planned for 2020-2021.
Take a moment this week to write a plan but remember that surprises will happen. Don't worry about them, don't plan for them, just let them come.
