We talked today about giving abundantly. This is not something that we can easily understand.
Maybe if think more about sharing what we have. Or maybe if we think about showing the love that Jesus taught us. Or maybe if we think about just doing good.
Giving doesn't always mean money. It can mean talents, it can mean time, it can mean anything that we have to share with others.
When I read through what I was talking about, one thought kept popping in my head: magin penny. I remember when I was little and learning this song. It was hard for me to imagine so many coins that they would fill the room! Now, I think I understand.
It is not about the penny, it's not about the magic. It's about giving what we have to help others. And then in turn, they give to help. And so on, and so on.
When all we have is nothing, there's a lot to go around. We have enough. It is time to share what we can. We need to show how important love is in the world.
Just try. Just do one thing for someone else and see how happy they feel and feel how happy you are.
I hope you think about all those times when someone did something for you and think about how you can do something for someone else.
Peace and love,
Michelle
