I find that Disney has a movie, and a song, to help illustrate many different ideas. It also helps that they are very catchy!
When I was younger, Hercules was one of my favourite movies. I had a poster on my wall and I played the PC game endlessly. We had a VHS copy of the film which had extras at the end of the movie. But one thing that I loved to do was memorize the songs.
It was harder because I couldn't just search the songs online or put on the closed captions. One of the songs that I had problems with was "Go the Distance." For each chorus, a few words would be different. I had to remember each one and keep them in the correct order.
"I have often dreamed
Of a far off place
Where a great warm welcome
Will be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer
When they see my face
And a voice keeps saying
This is where I'm meant to be
I will find my way
I can go the distance
I'll be there someday
If I can be strong
I know every mile
Will be worth my while
I would go most anywhere
To feel like I belong
I am on my way
I can go the distance!
I don't care how far
Somehow I'll be strong
I know every mile
Will be worth my while
I would go most anywhere
To find where I belong
I will beat the odds
I can go the distance
I will face the world
Fearless, proud and strong
I will please the gods
I can go the distance
Till I find my heroe's welcome
Right where I belong!"

Performed by Roger Bart as Hercules
You can see the evolution of the character as he seems timid at first but by the end, he is sure that he is on the right path.
Don't be afraid, face those challenges head on. It is scary but you can do it!
Peace and love,
Michelle
